Chrome light fixtures with sleek lines and perfect symmetry illuminated rooms filled with vibrant glassware and colorful, fine handmade rugs.

The mass production of goods combined with the warmth of art and design, was the bridge that Art Deco attempted to build. A high demand for these popular items, and the modern manufacturing know-how, allowed for the wide production and distribution of these sought after wares. Certain iconic elements of Art Deco were simplified by manufacturers to allow for such mass production.
